“My process for these paintings is as follows: working with high flow acrylics, foam brushes, water spray and blue shop towels for a beautiful base coat; adding gold for the shimmering sunny towers of Notre Dame; and finishing with a template and black paint for geometric lines.
I developed this series during COVID when my best little brother, Will, was home with me. We watched old Disney movies like Hunchback of Notre Dame and painted together in my studio. We would play the movie soundtrack and remember our trips to Paris and all the chocolate croissants I loved to eat. Slowly these beautiful paintings came to life. I think they are very beautiful, and remind me of the beautiful city of Paris! I hope you like them too!"
